Stone Ridge Farms – HOA Meeting Minutes – February 24, 2015
Attendance: Jake Kimery (chair), Billy Lindenborn, Shelly Whiting, Kyle Moore, Dustin White, Dale Day, Darren Christenson, Krista Clonts
Meeting commenced – 6:39pm; adjourned at 7:37pm
November 2014 Minutes reviewed/approved. Motion by Kimery, Moore 2nd- Approved
Vice President – Jake Kimery chaired in lieu of President Trip Ballard
Announced Piedmont School District has given okay for additional turn lanes to be added on Memorial where SR Elementary morning drop-off of students and afternoon release/pickup of students creates traffic jams for all (vehicles and pedestrians) attempting to enter SRF neighborhood. Proposal now needs to go before OKC Council Planning committee in order to move forward.
Suggested additions be made around outside of pool for fixed outdoor grilling areas to help facilitate more picnics, parties.
Pool – Billy Lindenborn
Seeking final bids for new pump system, expected to better handle the pool capacity for proper operation and fewer maintenance challenges.
Discussion: seeking bids for upgrade of Pool/Cabana area security and surveillance system; Pool furniture evaluation to take place and order of needed replacement furniture will follow.
Moore suggested Paint/Wall/Light fixture treatments to Cabana Clubhouse, all agreed this is an expense that is needed.
Landscaping – Dustin White
Need electricity set up at new SRF entrance off Morgan to 138th.
New irrigation system needed at same entrance
More greenery/flowers needed for all entrance locations.
Perimeter land care needed west of Teagan and east of Drakes.
Discussion: focus on entrances at this time, table any wetlands upgrade/landscaping/pathways until all new home construction north along Morgan Road is complete, so it won’t be compromised.
Compliance – Darren Christenson
A few letters have been sent to residents regarding disabled/neglected/abandoned vehicles parked in the street and driveways.
Social – Shelly Whiting
Planning for monthly summer movie
Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the morning.
Pool Opening on Saturday, May 23
Treasurer – Kyle Moore
Suggested increasing budget to make sure all holiday light purchases are covered going forward.
We need to adjust and increase the budget line for social functions to meet new demands of a growing SRF and increased resident population.
