Fence Project: We have received 3 quotes on the fence. 39,000, 34,000 & 22,000APEX Fence came in lowest with $22,000This quote includes removal of the white vinyl on far SW entrance on Memorial.Capped top on fenceLevel down the 8ft fence & cap to match.We have had complaints about the aesthetic of the wooden fence.Many neighborhoods around SF area also have wood. We are budgeting an annual maintenance for the fence (stain, panel repair, etc.) Eventually will complete all the way down to corner of morgan and memorial. This phase of the fence project will include removing the white vinyl on the entrance and behind just a few houses. Voting item: Motion to move forward with APEX Fence |
Pool: The new pump is running well! Several jets are not working & have no pressure. We are working with the pool company to check each one. Next year we have to resurface the pool. Needs to be resurfaced every 5-7 years.We have multiple complaints and issues arise at the pool between residents. We can not police the pool and we can not police the age of kids at the pool. We need solutions to proactively help with age of kids at the pool alone as well as behavior issues. Other HOAs do have life guards on duty to help with these issues. The Awning company quoted $2,150 from the company who we have used in the past. It will be 2-4 weeks to get it repaired Action item: Start budget & quotes on resurfacing the pool now. We want to get on the schedule so once we close the pool they can do it. Will need a week of dry weather. Action Item: Get a quote from a contract service to life guard the pool. Must be a certified lifeguard. Action Item: Get a quote on contract service to utilize off duty law enforcement. Voting item: vote to move forward on Awning quote. |
Playground Grass is growing in the mulch area again. We need new mulchPlanning a weekend neighborhood event to clean up the park. Plan to rent a roll off bin & residents help to move and re-lay the weed barrier Residents can use the bin while its there within the rules of the company Action Item: schedule and plan clean up event. |
Civil disputes HOA can only get involved if it is direct violation of HOA covenants. Residents must work it out issues with their neighbors – Legally, the HOA has no jurisdiction on civil disputes and we can not get involved. |
Violations: The HOA pays for a number of violations to be sent out. HOA needs be stay on top of this and have letters sent. Send the violations to Montana, Dan & Ashley. Ashley will send to Stacy at HOA Services in order to get a letter sent to residents. |
Dues:The Homeowner Balance report is very long. We have many residents that are past due on paying their dues. Voting item: Change the amount for letters to be sent when past due balance is $800+ |
Email: We need 2 – 3 people to monitoring incoming emails. Brittany & Blandy agreed to start helping to monitor the emails.If anyone is uncertain on a response, send a screen shot to the group. |
Facebook Our page is meant for HOA information sharing out with residents. We are changing the settings to approve posts for the entire pageBrittany & Blandy agreed to help monitor posts. (make admins of the page) Need to make post to residents notifying of the change. Our page is very full and a lot of people on the page no longer live in SRF. Landscaping The HOA had property deeded over and it’s now a larger area than was written into the original contract (January) Our landscaping company sent a new quote to cover the newly deeded area. Dan & Britt will drive around with Todd to go over everything again before we vote on the new quote. Action item: We will review & approve the new contract as soon as it’s ready. |
