Several break-ins have has been reported in the neighborhood. SGT Bob Skalla was at the meeting to review crime prevention.

  • When reporting a crime call 911 *not just on social media outlets
  • Report all suspicious activity. Call 911 and dispatchers will forward you to the correct person.
  • When reporting alway be aware of details: height, weight, sex, race, clothing, marks, vehicle. The more info you get the better.
  • Keep porch and outdoor lights on at night.

Crime prevention or active shooter classes are available through the police department.  There was enough community interest, the board will schedule a class in the future.

Social – Jayme

  • Easter egg hunt will be held March 31 the times are TBD. We will be filling easter eggs at the next board meeting.

Landscape –

  • The last meeting we approved a budget for the new area.
  • Pond clean up on 141st and Drakes Way will be on April 14th.  The goal is to empty the pond and clean up the overgrowth and the surrounding area.  We would like to have as many people as possible to attend and help. Once the pond is cleaned up we will discuss the options of stocking it with fish and adding walkways and benches.

Pool- Melissa

  • New residents that don’t have a key for the pool, please get with the board members and we can request one for you.
  • The pool is in the middle of being resurfaced and resealed, waiting for the weather to warm up to complete the work.
  • Next board meeting will be March 13th

Residence :

  • Will there be another entrance added off of Memorial? As of right now, there is not one on the plans, but that may change. We just don’t know right now.
  • Is there any open board positions?  We have one opening for a member of the activity committee. If you are interested in the position contact Shelly or Jayme.
  • Sidewalks,  some sections in the first phase of the neighborhood are buckling, will that be fixed?
  • It is not in the budget this year but it is a high priority on our list.
