Current Business:

President/Vice President:

-TheHalloween decorations competition is complete with signs and prizes being handed out. The Halloween party had a good turnout and we appreciate the residents coming out!

-Reminder that the StoneRidge Farms Small Business Saturday event is at 1 p.m. on Saturday  November 13th.  Rebekka will put together a vendor list and post this on the Facebook page soon.  There are currently about 20 vendors scheduled to be there.  Elk City Pizza food truck will set up that day and is scheduled for 11:30 a.m-1:30pm.

-Regarding the budget, Rebekka requested budgets from Landscape, Social, & Pool for the next meeting so we can have a final budget for the Annual HOA Meeting in December.  Misty said that she is working with Brian to get her budget refined and fine-tuned.  The pool budget won’t be ready until Brandon can get quote for resurfacing & pool cover.  Erica said she will work to get landscaping bids in.

-Rebekka discussed when we should have our November meeting.  All agreed to have it on Monday, November 15th at 6:30 p.m. Rebekka stated that this will be good since we need to provide residents a 30-day notice for the Annual Meeting.  We’ll discuss the Christmas decorations competition at the meeting in November.  Misty stated that she has the nets that ordered for the playground, they just need to be put up.  Thane said he can hang them.

Vice President:  Not in attendance

Secretary:  Nothing to report.

Pool:

Brandon has been gathering info for the pool items and is getting this to Rebekka.

Cabana:

Thane replaced all bulbs on outside of cabana.  The two timer switches are replaced and locked out from people changing or damaging them.  It was advised by the pool maintenance man that we should be sure that we turn lights off right after pool closes in the summer pool season so we don’t get June bugs in the pool.

-Thane asked if we want to do anything about the fluorescent lights inside the cabana?  Rebekka said to go ahead replace bulbs.  Eventually we are planning a cabana remodel at some point, possibly next year so hopefully all of the fixtures will be updated then.

Landscape:

Erica is on the search for a new landscape maintenance company for weeding and maintaining flower bed.  We are having difficulty getting companies to return calls and give quotes.

-Our current mowing company will be sending in a formal quote soon.  Rebekka asked Erica to get a second quote without mowing from Squared Away.

-Current sprinkler company will be sending in a formal quote for maintenance.  Erica will contact him to get sprinklers winterized.

-Saturday, October 23rd was the neighborhood cleanup.  There was low turnout of only 1 resident, but they were able to collect debris blowing around in ditches and along the fences.  There were 8 bags of trash collected.  It was less trashy than Erica anticipated.  The volunteers spent 3 ½ hours collecting trash.

-Erica stated that she has forwarded the official quote for the playground trashcan to Rebekka and it is around $1,095. Board will hold a vote at the next meeting.

-Erica also checked into the cost of mulching the playground area since it appears to need it.  Jamison Discount Home Improvement delivers for free for truckful of 7 pallets.  Erica has called Taber to try and get an exact number of square feet of the playground area.

Social:

Misty said the Halloween social on October 23rd was great.  Next up will be the contest for best Christmas decorations, then next Easter. As of now, there are no plans for a Christmas celebration as we don’t have room to house everyone in the cabana and the weather is typically pretty cold.

-Rebekka asked if we should have a separate Facebook page/profile for parties and events.  Brian said in thinking about posting, if we have a StoneRidge Social profile we have all that information captured in the event an officer moves out of the position.  This is a profile that you would use that to post to the StoneRidge Farms private page.  This way any posts concerning social events would be used.

-The Halloween event was the last social event of the year.  As the rest of the new phase gets finished by middle of next year and the construction completed on Morgan Road, we might try to get more of community involved as it is finished.  This is a necessity.  Misty also stated that Easter and Halloween are our biggest events.

Violations:  Not in attendance.

Resident Questions:

Christopher Greene asked for any updates on Morgan Road construction.  Unfortunately, the HOA does not have an information for the ongoings of the road construction.

-Christopher also asked about updates on Habitat for Humanity.  Rebekka stated there have been none and that she doesn’t anticipate any until Morgan Road is resurfaced/completed.

-Christopher referred to the Internet bill we were discussing, He says that Cox high speed internet should get much better since they are doing an upgrade at a major connection to neighborhood.  Rebekka asked Thane to get a quote from Cox for better internet service for the cabana.

End of Meeting:  7:02 pm.
