Current Business:

President/Vice President

  • A vacancy remains for the landscaping position. Please email the board at info@stoneridgefarmshoa.com to inquire or show interest.
  • We are working on getting a quote for additional cameras that would give us a better view of the playground.

Vice President

  • Nothing on Habitat for Humanity front. All is quiet.

Treasurer

  • Brian Bost gave a treasury report.  Consider moving money from checking to savings account.  $132,000 in checking account, $30,000 in savings.  $116,000 in estimated expenses for 2021 (cabana, pool, landscaping, sprinkler, etc.).  Approximately $125,000 incoming for 2021 dues.
  • We need to have a small meeting to go over budget items so we can put together, present, and approve 2021 budget.

Secretary

  • Nothing to report

Pool

  • NW Pool will no longer be doing maintenance.  John Murphy, an employee who was doing our maintenance, has sent a quote to  continue doing maintenance himself. Brandon presented cost estimates and comparisons for 2019, 2020, and 2021.  Over the long run, it appears this move will be as cost effective if not a lesser cost than Northwest Pool.  John is licensed and bonded.
  • We need to work on the new signs for the pool. These will consolidate our current signs and be more organized. Brandon will contact the metal sign company for updated signs.  Thane offered help for graphic designing of the signs to save on cost.

Cabana

  • Heather and Thane worked on the issues we were having with the website. After doing an upgrade, all issues have been fixed and we have received several reservation requests.
  • Heather received a quote for updating the cabana floors. The approximate quote for floors was $4,800 plus $2,500 for bathrooms approximately from RTP Concrete.  When/if we decide to do this we will need to get additional quotes for comparison.
  • Thane noticed that timed light switches need replacing in the cabana. Need to call electrician to get a quote for repair.

Landscape

  • Board voted on and approved repairs to start on the stone fence at the crosswalk across from the school. Will give an update on the estimated start time and how long project will take once we get a timeline from fence company. Also, we are still waiting for the quote that encompasses the rest of the stone fencing as they are slowly deteriorating.

Social

  • Will start yard of month in Apri 1st.
  • Easter egg hunt is planned tentatively for April 3rd 10:00-12:00.  Will update with more information as event gets closer.

Violations

  • Final violation for fence issue has been sent out certified. Will monitor tracking to notate when violation is received.
  • Letter was sent out last month to a resident parking their vehicle in the street entrance. Since letter was sent, it seems the issue has been resolved.

Resident Questions:

  • Dee Mefford asked if list of companies has been completed and published for the residents.  Rebekka replied that this was a private resident, not the Board that was building that list so the update would have to come from the resident.
  • Next HOA Zoom meeting will be moved to March 22, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. due to Spring Break for schools.

End of Meeting:  7:06pm
