Board Meeting Minutes
January 20, 2009
Members present:
Bill Atkinson, Vince Eitzen, Sid Helms, Phillip Hudnall, Garrett Morelock, Casey Nester, Lisa Riggs, Tim Rosetano,
Members absent:

Meeting called to order:
Sid Helms called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm
Review of December 2008 Minutes:
A motion was made by Vince Eitzen to approve the minutes from the December 2008 meeting with noted corrections the motion was seconded by Tim Rosetano and approved by unanimous consent
Management Report:
The January Management Report was reviewed.
A motion was made by Bill Atkinson to approve the management report the motion was seconded by Vince Eitzen and approved by unanimous consent.
Committee Reports:
Landscape and Maintenance – Work continues around the pool house.
Discussion was held on landscaping the “second” entrance on memorial. Phillip Hudnall was to look at the fence in that area and see if it was still leaning. If so, he would contact RLA regarding repairs. He also reported a water leak on the property of John Alexander would check and see if it is a “main leak”.
A workday was scheduled for April 18th to make repairs to the cabana.
A motion was made by Bill Atkinson to allot Phillip Hudnall $500.00 to buy supplies for the workday. The motion was seconded by Tim Rosetano and approved by unanimous consent.
Pool – No report
Social/Welcoming/Newsletter –Vince reported that he had prepared and delivered new welcoming letters which included a list of top 10 violations.
The annual garage sale will be held the weekend of April 25th. He is working on getting an agency such as Prevent Blindness, Goodwill, etc. to come and pick up donations after the sale.
Social events planned so far include a chili cook-off for May 30th (plaque to be bought for pool house with winners names; movies nights (about 6 during the summer); and Labor Day event similar to last year. Discussion was held regarding a 4th of July cookout and parade, will look into this event.
Discussion was also held about getting a Sam’s and Home Depot credit card for the HOA to help social and landscape committees.
A motion was made by Sid Helms to evaluate getting credit cards for the HOA. The motion was seconded by Vince Eitzen and approved by unanimous consent.
Violations – Bill Atkinson reported that a violation letter would be sent to the house on Korbyn with the “playhouse”.
Open Discussion:
Sid Helms mentioned his meeting with Ryan Aller regarding the website. A motion was made by Sid Helms to pay Ryan Aller no more than $30.00 to manage the website for the HOA. The motion was seconded by Bill Atkinson and approved by unanimous consent.
Meeting adjourned:
Lisa Riggs motioned to adjourn the meeting at 9:16 p.m. and the motion was seconded by Bill Atkinson and approved by unanimous consent.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
