Stone Ridge Farms HOA
Board Meeting – Minutes
January 17, 2012
Present: Chris Sanders, Jeff Redding, Billy Lindenborn, Joe Harris, Jason Rohrer, Trip Ballard, Dale Day

Meeting called to order at 8:03pm
Joe Harris – Treasurer
Noted there was a surplus of $50,000 in the budget, carried from the previous two years, due to conservative bidding/spending practices and near perfect HOA membership dues paid.
Jeff Redding – Pool/Clubhouse
Final bids on pool repair/resurfacing cost estimates were forthcoming and expected in for decision to be made in February HOA meeting. Estimate of $12,500 was reported on bid in Dec. meeting. Also researching pool maintenance companies and opening bids with them after issues throughout 2011 regarding cleanliness, PH balance and chlorine levels. Goal to resurface in March before the pool business gets extremely busy and forces delay in our work.
Billy Lindenborn – Landscaping
Introduced Matt Doerr, president of Turf Appeal Landscaping who handled Stone Ridge HOA account in 2011. Doerr presented contract proposal for 2012 of $7,280, noting a slight increase of about 3% over 2011. After brief discussion, HOA board voted to accept the proposal and keep Turf Appeal Landscaping on the job in 2012, expressing satisfaction with their work and business practices in 2011.

Open Discussion
Playground – development plans moving forward for new playground. Questions arose about exact location near the pool; overall placement of playground and how much leveling of the property/slope behind the pool area was needed before construction can begin.
New Business
A small contingent of board members would set a meeting with property developer about the Stone Ridge-Phase III addition taking place east of current neighborhood and connecting to Morgan Road. Purpose of meeting to seek more information about the process, number of future homes sites, etc.

Next HOA Meeting: Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 8pm

Meeting adjourned at 9:10pm
