Start Time: 7:05pm

Attendees:

Brian Bost – President

David Cincotta – Vice President

Brandon Thompson – Pool

Misty Orr – Social

Janelle Bell- Social

Christi Cherry – Secretary

Heather Finley – Cabana

Rebekka Bunnell – Landscape

Ashley Brown – Violations

Announcement: We would like to welcome Ashley Brown to the board. She will be filling the vacant violations position. We are considering adding a second violations person due to the size of the neighborhood.

President – Brian Bost

· Proposed possibly finding some help for Heather with the pool keys. A large number of new residents, lost keys and “key not working” emails received recently. Options to be considered are cross training with a current board member or adding a position.

Vice President – David Cincotta

· Provided a summary regarding the recent developments in the proposed new neighborhood by Habitat for Humanity to the north of our neighborhood. It appears that positive movement has occurred in updated changes to the proposed development plans and that many of the items we requested through our attorney were included in the updates to the proposed development. Our attorney is continuing to work for the HOA’s benefit. The biggest concern, but not the only one, is that Morgan Road cannot handle any increased traffic. To date, we have not been advised that Habitat has filed anything to formally request a zoning change or amendment to the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

Cabana – Heather Finley

· Many new residents have joined us at SRF, welcome to the neighborhood! If the previous owner left their pool key, it will not work for you. A new one will need to be assigned. Please contact info@stoneridgefarmshoa.com to request a new key. Replacement pool keys are available for $20. Also, please join our FB page titled Stoneridge Farms (Private Group). All scheduled events are under the EVENTS tab.

There are also FAQ’s about the cabana rental under the ALBUMS tab. The HOA’s website is www.stoneridgefarmshoa.com. Our welcoming committee has started emailing out the welcome letter, rather than delivering door to door.

Pool – Brandon Thompson

· The pool was shut down as of June 10th for repairs. Updates are being made via the FB page. With recent concerns about the appearance of the pool, we have reached out to our pool cleaning company. They suggested the pool remain closed on Mondays. The pool will benefit from the time to recover from the typical heavier usage on the weekends. NW Pool stated that 95% of the neighborhood pools they service are completely closed on Mondays. If more concerns arise, their next suggestion is to add a 4th night of cleaning. (Currently cleaned 3x/week). This will, of course, add an additional expense. The residents will be notified via FB when the new schedule will begin. Adding a skirting to the fence was also discussed. We have one that was previously used, but were told it caught the wind and almost pulled the fence down years ago, in addition to making the pool area extremely hot. We may look into a new, shorter one or having the current one modified.

· A new hook was purchased and installed on the west fence.

· A plumber was hired for some repairs in one of the restrooms and in the pump room.

· We are considering updating and consolidating the signage on the pool gate. It currently looks cluttered with multiple signs.

· The water fountain has been temporarily removed for sanitary reasons due to COVID and also needs some repair.

Treasurer – Kyle Moore

· Not in attendance.

Secretary – Christi Cherry

· No updates at this time.

Landscaping – Rebekka Bunnell

· Due to multiple issues with the neighborhood irrigation system, Grace Irrigation will be inspecting and repairing the entire system.

· We have received quotes for several landscaping projects and landscaping maintenance.

· All board members will look at the quotes to determine if additional quotes are needed.

· We will gauge interest for a volunteer project to work on the landscaping at the pool house. The board will come up with the plans for the project and coordinate the effort if there is enough interest.

· Crepe Myrtles at are being replaced as covered under warranty at the Agate entrance that was recently redone.

Social/Social Committee – Misty Orr and Janelle Belle

· Interest in the 4th of July Parade will be gauged via a Facebook poll. The June dive-in movie is cancelled due to COVID-19 and a decision for the July dive-in movie is TBD.

Welcoming Committee – Shelly Whiting

· Not in attendance but Misty provided an update on her behalf. She has mailed out welcome letters and is currently caught up.

Other Orders of Business

· The neighborhood garage sale has not been scheduled due to COVID-19. We are monitoring Surrey Hills and may try to plan ours to coincide with theirs. It appears they may have theirs in late September or early October.

· A resident submitted a complaint about the new playground equipment and the proximity to their fence. The height of the climbing feature and the swings allows kids to see over the fence. They have also seen an increase in the amount of trash found in their yard. Advised resident that we are unable to move the equipment. When the bylaws are updated, increasing the height allowance for the fence facing the park can be considered. Installing privacy landscaping may be considered in the future as well.

End of Meeting: 8:50PM
