September 2017 Minutes
Stoneridge Farms HOA Meeting Minutes
September 12, 20017
Board Attendees: Jake Kimmery, Jayme Cincotta, Misty Orr, Darren Christensen, Melissa
Dana
Social/ Welcome committee: Shelly Whiting
Call to Order 6:05 PM
Social: Jayme Cincotta
● Pool closing Saturday, September 16th 12:00 – 2:00 pm
○ Dunk Tank
○ Bounce houses
○ Nachos hot dogs cookies chips and drinks
Violations: Darren Christensen
● Notify the action center for the following violations;
○ Cars and trailers are being left on the streets overnight.
○ Yards not being maintained
○ Dog issues
● There is an abandoned home in the neighborhood that is being used for storage and
parking without proper authorization.
● Darren is thinking about leaving the board, it is “frustrating” sending letters and handing
out violation warnings without having the power to follow through.
○ Board will make a facebook post about taking pride in our community and
reporting issues directly to the action center.
○ To give the board more power and administer fines the neighborhood would have
to vote 80% in favor to change the bylaws. As of now, we don’t have enough
attendance at the board meetings to take a vote. We would have to do a vote by
mail or a door to door vote.
○ Spoke about possibly doing a facebook survey or mailer to get opinions on
solutions.
Pool: Melissa Dana
● The pool will be drained Sunday after the pool closing party so that resurfacing can
begin.
● Bathroom doors (between pool and cabana) will remain locked so that people will not
access the cabana room without going through the proper channels to reserve it.
● People have been asking about a second pool or a splash pad. In order to do this the
HOA would have to purchase another building lot.
Opened questions or concerns from residents in attendance:
● Dogs in yard (climbing fence from backyard)
○ (1st step) Address your neighbor directly
○ (2nd step) get the board involved and it may escalate from there
● General surprise that not more people are involved in board meetings.
○ There are a lot or rental properties in the neighborhood, the renters may not be
as involved as the homeowners. The renters are still held to all the standards as
homeowners when it comes to violations.
● Landscaping at entrances should be enhanced.
○ A resident was going to bring a layout suggestion for the entrance and has not
shown up to the meeting.
○ The board is always open to suggestions from neighbors and friends to make our
commons area better.
● The street light that was just installed on Tegan and 143rd is not working and it is
leaning.
○ Report all street light outages to the action center.
Meeting called at 6:55 PM
