Current Business: President: Outgoing President Rebekka Bunnell introduced the old Board and went then went through roll call naming new members Dan Orr, President; Montana Dugger, Vice President; Blandy Arroyo, Social Committee Chair; Misty Orr, Social Committee. Ashley Brown will move back to only handling Violations from the Vice President position. Rebekka Bunnell is officially stepping down from her position as President of the HOA. After this meeting they’ll be taking over those positions. Members of the Board thanked her for her service to the StoneRidge Farms community while she was President.
Rebekka gave an update on >>>> situation. (I could not tell what situation you were giving an update on.)
Vice President: Nothing to report.
Treasurer: No financial report due to the management company not making the report available. Several attempts were made to reach Stacy Burris with no success.
Secretary: Nothing to report.
Pool: Brandon talked to John the pool guy recently as the last couple of days the jets were running slowly. With the increased heat and debris from increased activity at the pool, the baskets were getting plugged up. After cleaning the pool and filter baskets, the jets worked fine. Pump issues were that a metal band snapped and corroded due to chlorine. This is now fixed.
Cabana: Linda states that there have been 13 new neighbors, 10 new Cabana bookings and 2 key replacements. There are still three empty houses for which she has a pool key and the one house on Kamber that caught on fire. She has the pool key ready, but awaits the residents moving in. The new lanyards that were ordered came in.
Landscape: Jason Hanson came out looked at the flower beds at the entrances and he will give a quote around the end of the week for maintaining them. Several things looked dead due to the intense heat. Jason questioned what plants the previous workers put in as these were not good for us to have as they will have a tendency to take over a bed. The goal is to have the new company do weed pulling and put colorful flowers in the beds.
Rebekka asked if John had received any fence quotes? John stated he had none yet.
Social: Mistystated that there was a movie night in July and all went well. The next one is scheduled for August 5. After that the next event will be Halloween; which the intention is to make more of a family event and not only aimed at kids but including adults. More to come!
Violations: A letter was sent out for a trailer parking in the street last month.
Residents In Attendance and Questions: Kelsey DeLobbe, Philippe DeLobbe, Rick Thompson, Heather Finley, Staci Thompson, Daniel, Jan Miller
Heather asked,”Have we had the Mulhearn people come out to do a quote for landscaping? Rebekka and John stated no they had not.
Rick and Debbie Thompson – Asked when the water in the pond between old and new neighborhoods will be held in the pond? Rick stated that there is a drain way located way below water level which allows water to constantly flow out. The residents bordering the pond want that to stop or at least be slowed. Rebekka stated that she can pass that on to Dan, the new President; and that it would be up to Premium Land as we have not received the Deed to that pond and the greenspace yet.
Debbie Thompson asked, “how we can find out about Events in the HOA?” Rebekka stated that If not on Facebook she can get a User ID from Facebook just to log into the local Facebook page.
Will meetings stay on same dates? Dan said meeting dates will stay the same.
Next meeting August 15th on Zoom.
End of Meeting: 6:47 pm.
